Engines out and new engine getting prepped

As you can see the engine is out of my 1949 International KB2 tow vehicle
and the donor engine is in a old International Scout its a 345 International V8 engine to replace the Green diamond 214 flat head straight 6 that was originaly in the KB2 I had to take the 214 out in pieces because of its weight but if anyone wants it come and get it cheep if you put it back together it will run  its just not very fast I hope I can get the KB2 up too highway speeds once this new engine gets in it poor scout most likely will end up at the scrap yard as she is very rusted and falling apart but at least her engine will live on with the sexy new KB2 body that I am planning to fix up just right

The Restored, The Unrestored, and the Unrestorable

The fact that there are still Anderson Coaches out there somewhere weather they be in some farmers field or in a junk yard they are National Treasures that need to be saved well there are some people out there along with me saving some of the rarest camper trailers in the world  in these photos I will show you the only examples of Anderson Coaches I have found and some are saved and some are so bad that they would be only good for parts like the Viking was! As sad as it is that some of them are destroyed the Beauty is that the few are saving as many as they can with their parts and are not just being sold off as scrap and destroyed for scrap value. Here are some saved, the ugly but restoreable, and the dying!

Only a few of these are known to me of where they are or who owns them let me know who you are lets have a Anderson Reunion or start an Anderson Coach club lets get these Amazing Trailers out there and let the public know what they are about,  These next examples are owned by Nomad trailer Lodge look them up they are Awesome.

R.I.P 1955 Anderson (Viking funeral)

Well who besides me would think this an absolutely
beautiful  vintage camper??  Well this 1955 Anderson Coach was found in a farmers field in a little town an hour or so from Saganaw, Mi. you see it in these photos after Me and Dad got done removing the doors and windows  and salvaging every little part we could fit in the back of the truck the following week someone came to remove the skin for scrap and then it was burnt to the ground as it was unrestorable what a shame!!!

Awesome finds at Goodwill

Well I am an avid Goodwill shopper and these are 3 of my latest finds for the 1949 Anderson Coach a vintage mixer, and a vintage can opener, and also a vintage Aluminum Kromex spice rack set now all I have to do is find the canister set that matches!
