1949 International KB-2 Tow Vehicle
Well I found the tow vehicle of my dreams for the 1950 Anderson Coach A 1949 International KB-2 3/4 Ton pickup truck these photos show it after I painted it flat black with red rims and chrome hub caps! pretty cool huh? It will be getting an overhaul and a bigger engine so I can reach Highway speeds with it right now it only goes about 45 M.P.H. top speed with its original engine but I plan to put a 350 V8 Engine into it! As a farm truck it never needed to go fast just be able to tow a massive amount and work, work work. My 1949 was from Wisconsin and it worked at a sheet metal manufacturer it said so on the door before I painted over it! The truck will be painted again to match the Anderson Coach I plan on painting them both International Harvester Red

I was tearing out all the insides of the Anderson when I came to this back bedroom closet. When I started slowly removing the panels I came upon a huge surprise! Under the part right under the door in these photos was a number of Pennies that someone at the Anderson factory put under the wax paper but on top of the lanolium flooring then they put the wood down and screwed it to the floor. The Pennies ranged in years from 1937 to 1950 and two of them are steel Pennies from the World War 2 era when the government needed the copper for bullets and minted Pennies from Steel blanks instead of Copper! Hope you enjoy the photographs!

well when I was surfing the web one night looking for more information about Anderson Coaches I came across someone selling a number of Vintage camper books and manuals and this caught my eye turns out it is some kind of Advertisement trying to sell two models of Anderson Coaches a dual axle and single axle models and I knew I must own it as it is most likely the only one in existence anyone that wants a copy I can make one for them won't charge you much either! but really let me know if you need a copy who knows what kind of information you might need have not scanned it yet but will soon
